Dr. O'Neal attended Michigan State University's College of Natural Science in the Medical Technology degree program. After completion of the Junior year, he entered Michigan State's College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received a BS in Osteopathic Medicine and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State's College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completes more than 300 hours of continuing education coursework every year and keeps up to date with experts in the field.
He has been married for over 30 years, has three children who have completed or are pursuing advanced college degrees, has an active Terrier mix named BamBam, and enjoys real jazz music on Sirius or XM 70, along with competitive-level cycling and cycle touring.
